Unique top handmade from a discarded wall hanging

Details:

• Hand-embroidered wall hanging
• As the curtain wasn't enough to make the top, we used a leftover piece of a tablecloth from another project.
• Eco-friendly buttons made in Portugal
• One-of-a-kind piece
• The original lace from the curtain was kept at the bottom
• On the bottom left, there is an almost imperceptible stain that we couldn't completely remove with washing.

Care:

• Hand wash or delicate cycle (max. 30°C)
• Low spin
• Mild soap
• Wash inside out
• Dry in the shade
• Iron at low temperature (with protection over embroidery)

Please note:

• Grita works with used domestic textiles that have been discarded. These fabrics often have some wear and signs of use that we try to disguise or integrate as best as possible.
• This means that some pieces require a lot of work in terms of sanitization and "restoration" of the fabrics and embroidery.
• On the Grita page, you won't find references to gender. We create our pieces without thinking about who will wear them, because everyone wears what they want.
• For this reason, we also don't follow certain sewing conventions (e.g., buttons on the left or right). We place them randomly or on the side that enhances the beauty of the shirt.
• As these are already old fabrics, and especially if they are embroidered, it is very important to follow the washing recommendations.
