  • Hand wash or delicate cycle (max. 30°C)
  • Low spin
  • Neutral soap
  • Wash inside out
  • Dry in the shade
  • Iron at low temperature (with protection over embroidery)

  • Grita works with used, discarded household fabrics. Fabrics often have some wear and signs of use that we try to disguise or integrate as best as possible.
  • ⁠This means that some pieces require a lot of work in terms of sanitisation and "restoration" of fabrics and embroidery.
  • ⁠On Grita's page you won't find gender references. We create our pieces without thinking about who will wear them, because everyone wears what they want.
  • ⁠That's also why we don't follow certain sewing conventions (e.g. buttons on the left or right). We do it randomly or on the side that enhances the beauty of the shirt.
  • ⁠Since these are old fabrics and especially if they are embroidered, it is very important to follow the washing recommendations.
