Condition

GRITA uses recycled fabrics, giving them a new purpose. This shirt was an old tablecloth with several brown stains (it looked rusty) and we thought it was beyond saving. After several washes and a final attempt at the dry cleaners, the tablecloth came out in a condition that we could transform it. Two stains on the back were covered with new embroidery. New embroidery was also added to the shirt's hem, which was falling apart. It was a true restoration.
