Unique and special shirt-jacket made from a very beautiful hand-embroidered linen tablecloth.

  • Made with a linen tablecloth hand-embroidered in cross-stitch.
  • The tablecloth had the initials DP embroidered on it, which we kept.
  • Several embroideries were restored (some threads were rotten).
  • The shirt had a hole in the back that was covered with a kind of emblem made from the shirt's embroidery. A very special Grita brand.
  • This shirt is very versatile. It can be worn in 3 ways: as a regular shirt; open with a top underneath like a jacket; or with a sweater on top, showing off the colorful, round collar.
  • Eco-friendly buttons produced in Portugal (70% recycled plastic, 30% rice husk)

Precautions to take

  • Wash by hand or on the delicate cycle (max. 30°C and low spin).
  • Use neutral soap and turn it inside out.
  • Dry in the shade
  • Steam iron at a low temperature.

GRITA uses recycled fabrics, giving them a new purpose. This shirt was an old tablecloth. Therefore, fabrics may have small imperfections or signs of wear that we try to disguise as best as possible.
