One-of-a-kind and special shirt made from a beautifully hand-embroidered linen tablecloth.

  • Made with a hand-embroidered linen tablecloth.
  • This shirt is very versatile. It can be worn in 3 ways: as a regular shirt; open with a top underneath like a jacket; or with a sweater on top, showing off the colorful, round collar.
  • The towel was in terrible condition. Several washes were done to remove stains (using various techniques), but the stains wouldn't come out. We decided to embroider over the stains.
  • Embroidery time: 2 hours
  • Eco-friendly buttons produced in Portugal (60% recycled paper, 40% recycled plastic)

Precautions to take

  • Wash by hand or on the delicate cycle (max. 30°C and low spin).
  • Use neutral soap and turn it inside out.
  • Dry in the shade
  • Steam iron at a low temperature.

GRITA uses recycled fabrics, giving them a new purpose. This shirt was an old tablecloth. Therefore, fabrics may have small imperfections or signs of wear that we try to disguise as best as possible.
