  • Grita works with discarded used household fabrics. The fabrics often show some wear and tear, and signs of use, which we try to disguise or integrate as best as possible.
  • This means that some pieces require a lot of work in terms of cleaning and "restoring" the fabrics and embroidery.
  • On Grita's page, you will not find references to gender. We create our pieces without thinking about who will wear them, because everyone wears what they want.
  • That's also why we don't follow certain sewing conventions (e.g., buttons on the left or right). We do it randomly or on the side that enhances the beauty of the shirt.
  • As these are old fabrics, especially if they are embroidered, it is very important to follow the washing recommendations.
