A very special blouse made from a towel with handmade fabric appliqués. An admirable work of art ❤️

• Figures made with hand-sewn fabric appliqués (very special and unique work!)

• The original lace from the towel was kept
• Some small repairs were made to cover tiny holes (including embroidering some flags similar to the existing ones).

• Hand wash in cold water
• Mild soap
• Wash inside out
• Dry in the shade
• Iron at low temperature (with protection over embroidery)

•⁠  ⁠Grita works with used, discarded household fabrics. Fabrics often have some wear and signs of use that we try to disguise or integrate as best as possible.

•⁠  ⁠This means that some pieces require a lot of work in terms of sanitization and "restoration" of fabrics and embroidery.

•⁠  ⁠On Grita's page, you won't find gender references. We create our pieces without thinking about who will wear them, because everyone wears what they want.

•⁠  ⁠For this reason, we also don't follow certain sewing conventions (e.g., buttons on the left or right). We do it randomly or on the side that enhances the beauty of the shirt.

•⁠  ⁠As they are old fabrics, especially if embroidered, it is very important to follow the washing recommendations.
