Condição

A GRITA utiliza tecidos usados dando-lhes uma nova função. Esta camisa era uma antiga toalha de mesa que estava com várias manchas castanhas (parecia ferrugem) e que julgávamos não ter salvação. Depois de várias lavagens e última tentativa na lavadaria, a toalha saiu em condições de podermos transformá-la. Duas manchas nas costas que foram tapadas com novos bordados. Foi também feito um novo bordado na bainha da camisa que estava a desfazer-se. Foi um verdadeiro restauro

Very special shirt with beautiful embroidery on the back

• Shirt made from a very old tablecloth that was in very bad condition. The shirt was washed several times, including in the laundry room, and almost all of the stains were removed.

Condition

GRITA uses repurposed fabrics giving them a new life. This shirt was an old tablecloth that had several brown stains (it looked like rust) and that we thought was beyond repair. After several washes and a final attempt at the laundry, the towel was ready for us to transform it. Two stains on the back that were covered with new embroidery. New embroidery was also done on the hem of the shirt that was falling apart. It was a real restoration
